Fairtrade Fortnight

22 Feb – 7 March 2021 is Fairtrade Fortnight. Fairtrade is about social, economic and environmental justice. A root cause of the inability to adapt to and mitigate climate change is poverty. Choosing Fairtrade helps to put more money in the hands of farmers which is needed if they are to adapt and survive the climate crisis. This Fortnight, we are being asked to ‘Choose the World You Want’ through our buying choices and using our voices to tell others about the challenges farmers face from climate change.

The Knowing Jesus online retreat

Using art, music and scripture, this is a wonderful resource for prayer and spiritual growth in Lent.

The person of Jesus Christ reveals God to us. During this retreat we are invited to spend time getting to know Jesus better. The retreat offers a selection of stories and sayings from the Gospels that illustrate different facets of Jesus’ character and values. Some we will probably find attractive, others we may find challenging.

Pray on your own

Get together with others once a week to share the words, art or music that has spoken to you.
