In the autumn we are hoping to build parish life into a more normal shape after the many disruptions of the last 17 months. In order to do that effectively, we need to start thinking about our priorities. It isn’t about ‘getting back to where we were before’ but asking how we can be more faithful to our parish purpose “To be a parish in joyful mission: welcoming all, empowering Christian lives, supporting others.” How to draw people who have become distanced during the pandemic back into the life of our community? How to reach out to others not yet in contact? How to make our buildings serve our purpose better? We’d really appreciate your ideas – and your energy. If you have skills in building-management, community development, catechesis … or any relevant area of parish life, we’d like to hear from you. And we want to know your thoughts about the way forward. Please share your thoughts via this short survey:

Our Lady of Lourdes parish is a welcoming, supportive and inclusive community. Here all can grow to be disciples of Jesus and experience the power of the Holy Spirit. We go out to share the Good News through how we live and how we respond to those in need.
